This free live webinar session will provide authors with best practices in preparing a manuscript, navigating the journal submission process, and important tips about how to get published. It will also review the opportunities authors and academic institutions have to enhance the visibility and impact of their research by publishing in the many open access options available from IEEE.
This webinar will include two keynote presentations featuring the perspectives of IEEE Access Editor-in-Chief Dr. Derek Abbott of the University of Adelaide, Australia, and Dr. Paolo Bonato of Harvard University who currently serves as the Editor-in-Chief of the IEEE Open Journal of Engineering in Medicine and Biology. Given their vast editorial experience, both speakers will be able to provide critical insights on IEEE’s peer review and submission processes and tips on what editors look for in submissions. Other presenters from IEEE will also cover topics such as IEEE open access programs for institutions, research strategies using IEEE Xplore digital library, author tools, and
other important resources for authors.
